Based on the film “English Vinglish”, I would like to conclude that I am totally like this film based on the storyline and its characteristic show in this story. For the most, I like the main character role by Sashi which have portrayed the most valuable values.

                Besides, the present of antagonistic character also make this film become more interesting. This antagonistic character is shown by Sapna and Satish, Sashi’s daughter and husband. Their bad character make all the audience feel annoying with them because their bad character. On the other hand, present of them causing audience feel impatient to know their ending after knowing Sashi can speak in English.

                This story also has shown a very strong relationship of friendship between friends even though comes from different countries such as from China and France. Based on this film, they have a close relationship between them and this bond form from many cultures making this film more interesting and enjoyable.

                Thus, I can conclude that I am totally like this film because I enjoy this film and full of messages.

Sashi's mistake

For those who have been watching English Vinglish film, thank you for watcher because I have success to promote English Vinglish to public.

                There are some mistake during Sashi pronounce some words and sentences. Fistly, a word jhazz. From the movie, it should be jazz. This mistake occur during Sashi mumbling about her daughter is going to dance class in order to learn jazz dance which causing her to pronounce wrongly. Due this, her husband, daughter and son laugh at her causing she fell down and become moody.

                Secondly, Sashi speak wrongly when she wants to enter the English when she came late to the class. ‘Can I come in?’ that is the sentence she used and it is wrong. She should says ‘May I come in?’. When she speak wrongly, her teacher, Mr.David teach her how to ask permission properly and used suitable word.

                Thirdly, Sashi speak wrongly when she used ‘I am from the India’ when she ask to introduce herself in the first day she attend the class. Fortunately, her teacher, Mr.David correct her by tell her and  toall class that proper nouns does not need to used THE at the beginning of the nouns.

Hermm..Satish..

Satish is another character in this English Vinglish film. Role of Satish is as Sashi’s husband. Satish is a very workaholic person. For instance, Satish cannot attend for parent’s day at Sapna’s school because he has a meeting which causes him to replace by his wife.

                Secondly, Satish is a selfish. This is shown when he asks for his wife to stop doing ladoo. But for Sashi, stopping making ladoo which is her favorite making her feel like controlled by her husband. For Satish he wants Sashi to take care of their children and house only.

                Thirdly, Satish is an insensitive person. As proof, he does not care about Sashi’s feeling when without shy he hug another woman in front of Sashi until it gives a shock to Sashi.

                Next , Satish always discriminate her wife. This is shown when Sashi is trying to speaking English, but her pronunciation is wrong. One of the character of Satish is he do not want to correct her wife to pronounce well but continuous laugh at her wife until his wife feel down and frustrated.

                Lastly, Satish loves his wife very much. This is proof by he always praise his wife ladoo’s is the best. Another is, he asks his wife whether she love him or not after he saw Lauren and Sasha always talk together in public until he get jealous. This is shows how he love his wife so much.

ENGLISH VINGLISH IS GREAT!

This film so interesting and have a lot moral values for those watching it.

I would like to highlight about the main cast in this film. Sashi. Sashi is a housewife and she is an entrepreneur whose make ladoo. But she faces a problem when her English is bad. Sometimes make her feel down.

At New York, Sashi determined to have an English class in duration 4 weeks. Thus she determined to attend English class every day no matter happens. She also practise her English at home by watching English movie, watching a news and read newspaper. If there some words she does not understand, without shy she asks her niece for answer. At the same time, her niece always gives her strength to not always give up.

Secondly, Sashi is responsible. When her husband come back from work at late night, she still does her responsible to accompany her husband dinner. At another side, she wake up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for her mother,husband,daughter and son. Next, she will ensure that all her children are ready to go to school. After that, she will send her ladoo to all her buyers.

For all readers, I promote to all of you to watch this film because you will see the spirit of Sashi to learn English. Also you will see how she made an improvement for herself to be same level as her children and her husband. And you never regret for watching this film.
